The Financial Planning Analyst will report to the Manager, Financial Controls and Reporting and is an integral member of the Finance Team. You will be responsible for corporate business plans, operating and capital budgets, corporate planning and forecasting, and interim actual-to-budget variance reporting activities.


As the successful candidate, you are starting to build a career and track record of success in a CPA firm or finance / accounting roles with a complex organization operating in a multi-stakeholder environment. You have a passion for public service and for embracing the community in which you live. You are looking to develop your leadership skills and experience working with department executives and managers. Your knowledge and experience with financial modelling and analysis is a strength of yours. You have demonstrated sound judgment based on data driven evidence and analysis and have the ability to see the larger picture, which enables you to plan and execute strategy and measure results.


As a developing leader you possess a flexible, adaptable approach to your work, and foster a high performing work culture for your team. You have proven interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to listen and discuss ideas and create practical and creative solutions to complex problems.
